The Kooties @ the Drunken Unicorn, 10 April 2010
It's been a while since my last blog post. I've been really busy. I got to photograph an amazing wedding, was featured in a bridal show, my networking group is gaining attention and I'm producing a rock show! So, my plate is more than full, but I'm loving it.
Like I've been telling people, my friends are all becoming rock stars and the Kooties are at the top of my list. They opened up a the show for some great acts like DOOMSTAR & The Sylvans! We had the kind of fun I remember having as a teenager bopping around the Capri Lounge in Augusta GA. Thanks to Coco Rubio, venues like SKY CITY and the Soul Bar have given Augusta a great little scene.

Happy Snowcation!
I came up to Atlanta to see my friends up here. There are so many of you that I wanted to see, but of course the snow happened. Yes the roads are mildly icy, but my short attention span makes it so I get distracted by the snow flakes. Yeah, I'm a flake myself.
So, my car is parked by the side of the road. The neighborhood kids keep playing beside it; they are dangerously close to my car with large, icy snowballs. Therefore, I am watching out the upstairs bedroom window to wait for one to get snow off my car . . . then I'm going to hit the panic button on the remote.

Check out my super gorgeous cousin Darrelly! No funny ideas guys, she is spoken for. We did a shoot to make an album for her husband. More from the shoot is to come, but not all of them. ;)
These are some of my favorite shoots. It's not about being gratuitous, it's about making someone feel beautiful. These kinds of sessions are usually known as boudoir, but I like to call them dress-up shoots. Of course, the idea is to dress up into something sexy. It's so much hotter to show less.
After the shoot, we made a sexy album that we are going to send to her husband who is stationed in Iraq. She said when he sees it, he is going to swim home!
So, when are you going to call me to do your sexy shoot, huh?

January 30, 2010 I heart Pie!
I've been making lot's of pie lately and in an effort to keep myself from getting enormously fat, I've been giving away whole pies. This one is a chocolate berry pie. It was incredibly delicious, but it the consistency was a bit off. Still looks pretty though. I might have to open a pie shop. :)

Jan 14, 2010 - I LUV PIE!
Since this past thanksgiving, I've really gotten into pie making. I made apple pie, pumpkin pie, berry cheese cake pie and peanut butter ice cream pie. Here is my latest apple pie. Hungry yet?

Jan 04, 2010, Linda & Eddie
Got to see an old friend of mine from High School, the beautiful Linda. I am thrilled to be photographing her wedding this coming February. Got me thinking about what exactly I remembered about high school. I remember hanging out at Linda's house really late, up to mischief, then having to take the SAT's the next day. It's funny, I actually remember lot's about that night. (More that I'm willing to divulge here) How is it that you can remember so much from one day and so little from the months around it? Memory is a funny thing. Guess that is why we need to take pictures. So we can remember what goes by before I leaves our heads. Make me really excited to see what I years worth of pictures will say about me. Hope I keep this up! Any words of encouragement people? Anyone out there? Hello? Is this thing on???

Jan 03, 2010 - My Piano
When I finally got home, I was pooped. Just flicked on the light of the piano and click. This was the best Christmas present ever. My Dad sold his little sports car to buy this for me. Such a giving and wonderful man.
